My name is Emma Cracknell and I am an award-winning children’s illustrator based in Rosevale in the beautiful Scenic Rim in Queensland, Australia. I am also a Library Officer and busy mum of two kids.
I am a self-taught illustrator, using a combination of traditional and digital media. My first published picture book “Is this your egg?” written by Ella Kris, was one of twelve picture books to win a place in the First 5 Forever Stories for Little Queenslanders series in 2020. In 2021 “Is this your egg?” was chosen for a national award - “Speech Pathology Australia book of the year” in the Aboriginal and Torres Strait authored book category. Please see my ‘Portfolio’ page for more information on my projects and achievements.
